Evolution of mimesis
이족보행의 영향
Following developments provide preconditions for the evolution of mimesis:1
- The shift to Bipedalism had freed the hands for gestural communication. (see Bipedalism and gestural communication)
- The freeing of the hands for tool use had led to further elaboration of primate mechanisms, such as MirrorNeurons, for representation of the actions of others. (see Bipedalism and tool use)
- During several millennia of migration and population movements across open ground and through the bush, our ancestors had developed systems for tracking their own spatial positions in the present, past, and future, as well as the spatial positions and perspectives of others.
- Our ancestors could use their visual system to generate images of past actions and spatial configurations involving themselves and others.
- During the period before 2 mya, our ancestors had developed a tight linkage of attention to vocalization processes during face-to-face interaction and imitation.
